Many services and online ticketing packages allow you to sell e-tickets online but how many provide a simple interface that deal with the many issues that arise once the event is live. Lost tickets, disputed charges and fraud are some of the common occurrences that may arise disrupting the flow of services provided by your staff. The e-RegisterNow Show Panel allows cashiers and customer support representatives to login and handle almost all issues that may arise in real-time. The panel is mobile friendly and can be used from any device, be it laptop, phone, tablet or any other device that has access to an internet browser. This allows for a known location for guests to reach if they have issues or a mobile force of representatives that can solve issues within the initial entry line as they pop-up.
The Show Panel is simple ticket management software that connects to your database of tickets and only your tickets preventing entries from any outside tickets or even other tickets you are selling for another event through e-RegisterNow. Once logged in, the Panel will update in real-time all tickets sold, refunded or redeemed via the e-RegisterNow E-Ticket Scanner App available on the Apple App store for no cost. The e-Ticket Counts page shows a breakdown of all e-tickets currently sold via the online registration process. This page reveals each type of ticket sold and redeemed for easy visibility of progress. Date ranges have been provided to see these details down to the hour. A handy tool to quickly estimate how many individuals are currently inside your event. An additional table shows each redemption device in progress scanning tickets. This provides additional information indicating which of the points of entry are the busiest based on number of e-tickets scanned and when the last ticket was redeemed. All useful information for any show manager who wishes to make decision quickly based on the information provided.
A simple un-redeem is provided for each Show Panel user allowing the un-redemption of any scanned e-ticket. This was a highly requested feature that allows the customer service representative to un-redeem a ticket they scanned by accident. This may seem counter-intuitive at first, but there could be many reasons for a registrant wanting a valid ticket in their hard. These include: a friend coming to the event at a later time and will need a valid ticket to gain access, a refund could be processed by the event manager but only for a valid, un-redeemed ticket or perhaps there is another location within the event that requires an e-ticket for entry – an e-ticketed event within an e-ticketed event. This un-redeem with make the e-ticket valid once again in real-time so all the reports and gates scanning will know it is valid instantly.
Now to the main customer service panel of the Show Panel, the e-Ticket Search. This allows the representative to find any and all transactions that happened within the event. They can search by any number of the following: the reference number given, the card holder’s name, the first four and last 4 digits of the card holders credit card, the barcode itself, the email used upon time of registration and the purchaser’s name – which may be different then the card holder’s name, for example if the e-ticket was purchased as a gift. If the search is successful, it will show all data relevant to the search results. This includes all accepted and declined transactions. Declined transactions are visible to show the guest that their initial transactions that they thought was approved was indeed not accepted, so e-tickets were issued. With all approved results, the representative can click on any blue hyperlinked reference number and this will open a copy of the receipt of the transaction. With the click on the email button, an email will be instantly sent to the email address on file, or it can be changed to email to another address. The guest will receipt a pdf copy of their receipt and any e-tickets within a couple minutes. This is a quick, easy, paperless way for guest to receive their tickets so they may be able to enter once again.
The show panel was built with a singular purpose to keep the flow of the redemption line moving as quickly as possible. The less guests are standing in line, the happier they are. And if those that are having issues entering can be resolved quickly, then that leaves a great impression of the event and the event management being able to deal with any situation that may arise with e-tickets and e-ticket redemption.
