What’s involved if I want to terminate my account?
A. Interware.Net which runs the e-RegisterNow service will allow terminations for any reason at any time and will provide you with a refund for all unexpired months. The bank or merchant acquirer might or might not have a termination fee. To find out if your visa/mc acquirer has a termination fee, check your initial paperwork or call their help desk. Some acquirers have the following policy, if you decide to cancel the visa/mc account within the first 3 years, you need to pay $300.
My account says “Invalid MID” when I try to login, what do I do?
This happens on the iPhone when you are not permitted to login to that specific M-account or when your password needs changing. If you change the password in the virtual terminal, this message will go away.
My account is “locked”, what do I do?
Locking happens when you try to login too many times with the wrong credentials, or when you haven’t logged in over the past 90 days. When this happens, you must call customer support to have your account, unlocked.
What kind of reports are available?
There are several financial statements available, including a payment details, a summary report, and a GL report for tracking revenue via GL numbers. In addition, there are attendance lists, enrolment reports, mailing labels, and custom reports. All of the reports may be downloaded into excel.
Can customers use DEBIT cards?
Yes. VISA and Mastercard debit cards work without a problem. In Canada, we can only process Interac via the Interac Online process.
Can Canadian companies collect payments in U.S .dollars without conversion?
Yes. Each set of merchant accounts settles funds collected in a specific currency. To collect funds in both currencies WITHOUT any dollar conversion, you need two merchant accounts, one in Canadian dollars and one in U.S. dollars. If you don’t care about dollar conversion, then you only need one set of merchant accounts in either currency.
How easy is it to setup events yourself?
Initially, our registration team sets everything up for you. We begin by morphing the registration pages into the look and feel of your website. We enter the events, pricing, taxes and registrations forms. Once everything is setup and tested, we offer you a 1 hour training session. You can continue from this point setting up your own events or pay us at $125/hour to continue setting up events for you. 20-minute or less questions are answered for free from our customer support line.
Does AMEX, Discover, Diners Club and Paypal work?
AMEX works, but the others aren’t available at this time. AMEX can be setup initially or later depending on your preference.
If our company already has a visa/mc merchant account do we need another?
Your eRegisterNow sales person will discuss this with you. It depends on where you are located and with which visa/mc acquirer you are with.
How long does it take to apply for and acquire a VISA/Mastercard account?
It usually takes about 5-10 business days to get up and running. There are forms to fill out, void cheques & financials to fax in. During the same time, our setup team works with you on the registration page sequence. Training comes later after everything is setup and tested. If you’re in a real rush, we can use our monopoly mode merchant accounts, which when used, save transactions for later processing without your customer knowing.
