1. Go to Edit > Pricing > Coupons…<\/p>\n

2. Click on \"Add\"<\/p>\n

3 . Set the following Coupon Options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

Description<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Coupon Name<\/td>\nEnter the name of the Coupon<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Unique Coupon Code<\/td>\nEnter a code that will be used to identify the coupon. If the registrant is given this code it can be used to activate a discount.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Coupon Value<\/td>\nThere are three choices:<\/p>\n
    \n
  • Absolute Dollar Discount – Reduces the price by a specific amount (can be in Canadian and\/or US dollars)<\/li>\n
  • Percentage Discount – Reduces the price by a certain percentage<\/li>\n
  • Absolute Price Override – Sets the price to a new value (can be in Canadian and\/or US dollars)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
General Comments \/ Explanation
\n(optional)<\/td>\n		Enter a description of the purpose of the coupon.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

4. Set the Applicable Events<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/td>\nNote:\u00a0This can also be done in the settings for each event.<\/p>\n

  1. Click on the “Applicable Events” tab\"\"<\/li>\n
  2. Select the events to which the new coupon applies.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

    5. Set the Advanced Options<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Click on the “Advanced Options” tab\"\"<\/li>\n
    2. Customize the following settings:

      Description<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

      Coupon Description<\/td>\nEnter a description of the purpose of the coupon.
      \nThis can be displayed to the registrant on the invoice.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
      Display Coupon Description?<\/td>\nSelect ‘Yes’ if the description should be visible on the invoice. If it should no appear, select ‘No’.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
      Maximum Number of Coupons Redeemable Per Registrant<\/td>\nSelf-explanatory<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
      Maximum Number of Coupons Available<\/td>\nCan be set to ‘unlimited’ or ‘fixed’. If ‘fixed’, enter a number in the text box.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
      Number Redeemed<\/td>\nThis is not an entry field. This can be used to track how many coupons have been redeemed.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
